WeCrashed

WeWork grew from a single New York coworking space into a $47 billion company in under a decade. Within a year, most of that value was gone.

In 2022 the story became an 8-episode Apple TV+ series based on Wondery's podcast WeCrashed: The Rise and Fall of WeWork, with Jared Leto as Adam Neumann and Anne Hathaway as Rebekah Neumann. It premiered on 18 March 2022.

For coworking founders, directors & operators

Run the space. Fill the desks. One platform.

CoWorkRM is the CRM, WhatsApp inbox and phone system of a coworking space — with billing on the 1st built in. Leads, members, visitors, bookings, staff and marketing share one contact record, on web and Android.

Why operators switch

Most spaces run on five tools and a spreadsheet. The money leaks in the gaps between them.

5 tools

…and nobody owns the follow-up

Enquiries land on a personal WhatsApp, a JustDial call, a walk-in and a web form. Tours never get booked — the lead signs next door.

3–5 days

every month, building the 1st

Invoices made by hand in Excel, reminders sent one by one, deposits and GST tracked separately. Late payments and disputes follow.

₹16,000+

what global platforms charge

The well-known tools bill $165–206 a month in dollars — and still don't do WhatsApp, your phone numbers, or your staff's payroll.

The market

India's flex market is growing beyond the metros.

The big platforms are priced for the top-10 operators in the top-7 cities. The other two thousand spaces — the independents, and everything growing in Tier-2 — are exactly who CoWorkRM is built for.

The growth engine

The only tool a space needs between "someone messaged" and "money came in on the 1st".

Every module shares one contact record — so a WhatsApp chat, a call, a tour, an agreement and an invoice all sit on the same person, across every branch.

Capture

A WhatsApp, a call or a walk-in becomes a lead with an owner and a follow-up on the same minute.

New number messages → lead + auto-reply → nothing falls through
→

Follow up

My Day task list, tour booking, journeys that drip follow-ups, and calls that ring the right team.

Dial from the app → sales ring group → call logged with outcome
→

Convert & bill

Plan, deposit and agreement on one record — then invoices, reminders and overdue nudges go out on the 1st by themselves.

The 1st runs itself · GST-ready · deposits tracked
→

Serve & retain

Members book rooms and pay in the app; agreement expiries trigger WhatsApp renewal reminders before desks go empty.

Why it wins

Three things to remember after this page.

Nothing falls through

A WhatsApp, a call or a walk-in becomes a lead with an owner and a follow-up on the same minute. Ask yourself: how many of last month's enquiries did nobody call back? CoWorkRM shows you that number on day one — Excel cannot.

01

Before you decide

Questions founders ask us

We manage fine on Excel and WhatsApp. Why change?

How many leads from last month did nobody call back? CoWorkRM shows you that number on day one — Excel cannot. Migration is on us: we import your members, plans, deposits and agreements, and everything exports back to Excel any time.

Our members won't download another app.

They don't have to. Invoices and reminders reach them on WhatsApp. The app is for those who want to book rooms and pay in two taps.

We don't want to change our phone numbers.

You won't. Direct mode registers the app on the PBX you own; your SIMs and the landline customers already dial stay exactly as they are — the app just turns them into a team phone system with a log on every contact.

Isn't the WhatsApp API expensive?

You see the cost per conversation in INR inside the app; utility messages like payment reminders cost under a rupee each, billed at cost plus 10%. Broadcasts pause automatically before Meta's tier limit.

We have three branches with different managers.

One login, branch-wise permissions, one dashboard for you. Each manager sees only their branch; you see occupancy, collections and pipeline across all of them.

Where is our data stored, and can we leave?

In your own account on Indian-region servers, encrypted in transit, with role-based access. Members, payments, attendance and leads export to Excel whenever you want — your data is yours.

What does onboarding cost?

₹9,999 once, including data import — waived entirely on any yearly plan. You're live in two weeks, with training for the front desk and managers included.

See it on your own numbers

A 30-minute demo on your own numbers — then 30 days free on Growth, with your real data loaded.

Leave your number and we'll call back within working hours. You'll see a WhatsApp become a lead, a call ring the sales group, and the invoice run for the 1st — on your space's own workflow. Leaving after the trial means losing a working system; most spaces don't.
